The Akanani Journey started over 10 years ago when the desire to build a unique sports training facility was further fueled when driving through the rurals of Kwazulu natal and seeing the vast expanse of land available coupled with extreme poverty of its people, the dream to make it a reality was initiated.

Added to the vision of the Sports facilty project is to create an off the grid self sustainable community with job creation ventures to empower the people from an entrepreneurship, skills and agricultural perspective.

The journey is well under way spearheaded by the founder and Chairman of Akanani Sports and Recreation Development Group, Haroon Emam and a dedicated team.
